Close to the prestigious Roda Golf & Beach Resort and just a few minute´s drive from the shores of the Mar Menor, Murcia´s famous inland lagoon with its golden sandy beaches and fantastic offer of watersports, the neighbouring villages of Dolores de Pacheco and Roda are great locations for either permanent living or for a holiday get-away.
Dolores de Pacheco enjoys everything that you would expect to find in a small, traditional Spanish working centre ; a church square, shops, bars and restaurants, supermarket, hairdresser, sports centre, banks, health centre, chemist, school and bus route. Just 1km away and next to Roda Golf & Beach Resort, Roda´s pretty village square contains a couple of restaurants, a sports court and a small supermarket. Both locations are well-known for their annual fiestas in which both locals and holidaymakers eat and party into the night.
Access is easy; Alicante airport is just an hour´s drive away, Murcia International airport 20 minutes and they have excellent road links via the AP7 motorway.
